This watch can´t be identified as a watch in the first moment. Only the secondwise rotating of the quill gives a decent clue to its proper function. The time gets visible by raising of the watch. On the bottom the time is showed by hour- and minute hand. Of course you can lay the watch on its side to see at any time what time it is.
